Summer School for Lace Makers, Co. Cork

The Gougane Barra Hotel will host a residential summer school for lacemakers from May 25th to 29th, 2009.

Beginners pack costs 10 euro each for all types of lace - Carrickmacross Lace, Limerick Lace (both needle run and tambour), Youghal Needlepoint, Bandon Lace (a princess lace) Sprigging and Mountmellick work.

As the school is located in Cork County, there will be time to discover the surrounding countryside.
