A follow-on course for participants who have taken part in previous beginner's workshops or for those with experience in Silk Papermaking techniques. The workshop focuses on experimental processes, alternative incorporated materials and fibres and on 3D sculptural projects.

Hand papermaking techniques using natural fibres of cotton, bamboo, abaca and esparto grass combined with recycled material. Suitable for beginners or participants with some experience in Hand Papermaking.

Using a variety of natural materials – raw silk and bamboo fibres, cocoon strippings, hand dyed silk tops, throwsters fibres, silk threads... – participants will create plain or colourful, textured, decorative papers. Suitable for writing, painting, textile and collage works, stitching, embroidery and sculptural projects.
