Learn how to make this beautiful beady animal hanger. This exciting workshop will include all the following techniques, forging and cutting sheet copper into shapes, applying a patina using a propane and oxygen flame, melting wire into ball ends, coiling and making wire wrapped loops, all these techniques can be incorporated in jewellery making to give a bold unique look

Acrylic Painting Workshop with Artist Jane Dunn.
The aim of this course is to encourage a confident and creative approach to using acrylic paints in a friendly and informal atmosphere. Beginners and experienced are welcome as each student will receive personal tuition to meet their individual needs.

Basic Traditional Wet Felting for beginners with Suzie Sullivan
Learn all about wool fibre, and how to turn it into a strong piece of felt, using hot water soap and friction, we will focus on sample pieces using basic techniques, and explore how to add surface colour and texture using inclusions such as hand dyed silk, raw fleece and wool knops. This is a very popular creative craft that can be easily done in your own home, no experience needed.

Mask Making with Carmel Balfe
Ever wanted to be the bell of a Venetian ball? Why not start by learning how to make your own half mask. We are running a mask making workshop to be facilitated by Carmel Balfe and all skill levels are welcome. Over the course of one weekend Carmel will cover face casting, silk felt making, moulding and treating the felt to make it durable. Materials used to complete the mask will include ostrich and peacock feathers and fabric trim. Come and immerse yourself in the glamour and the art. Cost to be arranged.

Precious Metal Clay with Maura Dickerson
Learn how to make charms, earrings and pendants from PMC, this will be an intense, detailed workshop covering all accepts of working with precious metal clay. Students will be making a minimum of 5 pieces. PMC when fired is 99% pure silver
