Knitmap is exactly what it says on the box, a map about knitting! It's a Yarn Store Finder, which catalogues and maps the locations of stores that sell knitting supplies and accessories.
It is very user friendly, you don't have to sign up to use it, and you can search for yarn, classes, etc...
Although based in the USA, it has already got a great amount of yarn shops listed for Europe and elsewhere. If you are travelling abroad, you can find a yarn shop to visit. Or if you are a yarn shop owner, why not list yourself. There are currently only 5 places listed for Ireland. It's a very handy resource, and a great free way of getting advertisement...
