Two talented FREEFORM teachers are coming to E.O.M. Studios in Mayo for 2-day workshops.
Prudence Mapstone is coming to Ireland! It is actually a Beadventure with Americans who come for the workshop / West of Ireland tour - but Cheryl is opening up the workshop to 5 non Beadventure students - maybe more if there is room. Right now, she has four openings left and will take wait-lists in case she can take more. Hopefully she can!
The cost is E180 for the 2 day workshop with lunch. She is not sure about accommodation on site yet - but there are plenty of B&B's in the village and she will arrange something for people nearer the time. She is hoping there will be room for you at the residence with the group - cost is E136 for all meals and accommodation for 3 days.
People will need at arrive the evening before the workshop if they are driving OR if they want to catch the same train as the group from Dublin, then they will be on the noon (12:30) train to Westport. They have a bus picking them up so there will be no extra charge for a taxi as they are 40 minute drive from the station. Cheryl will get anyone who needs to get back on the 17:45 train Sunday evening.
Everyone is invited to have dinner with the American knitters on Friday 22nd. They serve at 7 pm as the they are pretty tired after traveling so far and are ready for a good nights sleep. Prudence will be introducing her class at that time, so it is important to be there if you can.

They will all be going to the Knit & Stitch show the following Friday (29th) and she can arrange for Prudence to do a book signing somewhere if others would like to meet her.

Di Gilpin from Scotland will be teaching a residential freeform knitting class April 24th & 25th in Mayo at the E.O.M. studios in Mulranny. Please arrive on Friday evening (23rd April) for an evening meal with Di and introduction to the workshop.The class is Sat & Sun and will finish around 5 pm.
Dates: April 24th & 25th 2010
Cost E320 includes: 2 nights accommodation, all meals, tuition, transport from Westport train station (saves driving)

Wow Orla - I woulod actually love to do both these weekends but I have something on both of them...aaagggghh. I wonder if we could talk the ladies into coming down to Kerry for some weekends?
