Run a stall at CAF's World Community Arts Day event, Belfast

CAF has announced plans for an event to celebrate World Community Arts Day (WCAD) 2010. For the 3rd year running CAF will join organisations across the world in a global celebration of community arts.
CAF’s contribution to the 2009 day was a gala event in the Waterfront Hall with drama, dance, and world music performances, readings and exhibition stalls from projects across the region. This year’s event promises to be another exciting showcase of the wonderful projects happening all across the region.

CAF is encouraging community arts projects in any medium to join in! Any group or project using a community arts approach is invited to participate in the Belfast event. This is a unique opportunity to raise awareness of your work. There is no cost to participate in or attend WCAD.

As well as performances from community arts projects across the province there will be exhibition stalls available for groups to promote their work. This is an excellent opportunity to provide information on current projects and to network with fellow organisations. Stalls at the 2009 event included Groundwork NI, Island Arts Centre, Studio NI, Trans, Belfast Computer Clubhouse, Really Rubbish Orchestra, ArtsEkta and Springboard.

WCAD will be held on Wednesday 17 February 2010.
