Féile na Tuaithe 2010, Mayo


Féile na Tuaithe 2010 is the Biggest Free Family Festival in the West of Ireland. 
Saturday & Sunday 22/23rd May 2010 (12-5pm daily) 

Féile na Tuaithe - Turlough Park at the National Museum of Ireland - Country Life in Castlebar, Co. Mayo has got to be the best fun and best value festival around. Free entry, games, children’s activities, storytelling, crafts, music, face painting, demonstrations and workshops.

It’s a two day celebration of country life and traditions, and it has a range of textile activities taking place:

Craft Fair
Felt Fantastic, Ester Kiely, Derryaun Crafts, Away with the Fairies and Clew Bay Quilting Studio will all be present at the Craft Fair.

Workshops and Demonstrations
Along with a wealth of other craft activities, there will be spinning demonstrations, Harvest Knot Workshops, and our favourite Traditional Dyeing with Red Cabbage!!
