Pink Auction 2010 (Creative Textile Auction for Action Breast Cancer)
Get Involved! Here are some of the ways you can help make this event a success:
• Sew, knit, quilt, crochet, macramé, or create a creative textile piece to donate to the auction.
• Plan a ‘Make-A-Square’ event in your school, community or group of friends. These one-off events will be held all over Cork through August, giving friends and community groups a chance to knit, crochet, felt, quilt, or even silk paint or batik a square that will be part of a larger auction item.
• If you have a café, pub, restaurant, or public space offer to host a ‘Make-A-Square’ event.
• Donate clean unused yarn or fabric to be used by fibre artists to make an auction item.
• Spread the word! You can find us on Facebook, Twitter, and Ravelry.
