Irish 'Satellite' Hyperbolic Crocheted Coral Reef Needs You!

The Irish Crocheted Coral Reef is going to be exhibited in the Courthouse Arts Centre in Tinahely, Co.Wicklow from September 12th to October 29th 2010.

Anyone who didn't get the chance to see the amazing exhibition in the Science Gallery, can now see the Irish or 'Satelliete' Reef this Autumn. Not only see it, but there is still a chance for you to crochet some coral for the exhibition.

The original Irish Toxic Reef has gone to explore further shores, (The Smithsonian Institute, no less!!), so we have no longer have toxic pieces to exhibit as part of the exhibition in the Courthouse Arts Centre. We need you to get toxic-crocheting!

For a reminder about the Toxic Reef - pieces must be made from plastic (preferably recycling old plastic!). If you want more information and inspiration on what kind of pieces to make, take a look at the following websites:

You could also do a search on websites such as Flickr or Picassa.

Please send your submissions (including your name and contact details) by 3 September 2010 to:
