1st - 7th of November 2010
Design Week will be a week long celebration of Irish and International design.The main purpose is to highlight the important contribution good design makes to the cultural and economic life of Ireland through fostering a reputation for creative excellence and innovation.

There are a few texile inclusive events, but it is a pity there isn't more. Textile Design, in all its aspects, from creating new and innovative fabrics, printed textiles, to interior and fashion fabrics.. (etc, etc, we could go on and on!!)..is alive and well in Ireland. It is a pity this sector, is not represented more. Maybe next year..
There's little furniture without fabric!
