Blooming Marvellous - community knitted garden project, UK

An intergenerational community knitting/crochet project were we are knitting a 3D garden to climb, creep, blossom over 3 floors of Bourenmouth Library, UK, in an exhibition in May 2011.  

Pauline Stanley, an artist in the UK, is working on Blooming Marvellous, a community knitted garden project.

She is looking for a range of knitted/crocheted items, if you have some free time and some spare yarn. Here is a list of some of the things she is looking for: Flowers, Fruit to go on the 4ft trees,Vegetables for a veg plot, Slugs, Snails Birds, Bees, Bird boxes,  teddy bears picnic, large garden party picnic, Pets – dogs, cats, rabbits, tortoises, Ladybirds, Crazy paving paths, Lily pond, Frogs, Logs, Fungi, Garden tools, Hedgehogs, Wendy houses, Gingerbread house, Fairytale garden, Chickens, Garden gnomes, Rockery  

Deadline for receiving the work is 18th April 2011
