4th - 5th June 2011, Cillín Hill, Kilkenny
We are planning a programme of events for the weekend that will be fun filled for all the family. Where better to see and experience all the uses of wool and its products, from producer to user.
Our festival programme will include
Sheep Shearing & Wool Handling Competitions: with participants from around the world competing in the All-Ireland and International competition.
Food and Craft Fair: in the Hub showcasing some of the finest craft and food producers in the South East.
Fun Fair: - with all the traditional attractions.
Fashion Show: - showing the best of wool products.
Strongman Show: involving ten national competitors competing for the Strongman of Kilkenny title.
Young Shepherds competition: showing all the skills required in sheep management and sheepdogs working. Dog Show: for your favourite pet with all proceeds going to Inistioge Dog and Puppy Rescue Shelter.
