Evoke the romance of bygone years!
Learn the history and traditional
techniques of Victorian corsetry and use them to make a corset to fit your own
unique measurements in a new series of evening classes!
Laura Thorp is running classes on Wednesdays
7pm – 9pm for 10 weeks from the 22nd Feb in Dun Laoghaire with spaces limited
to six participants to ensure individual attention. All materials needed to
make a corset are included in the cost of €250, just bring a sewing machine, no
previous experience necessary!
Also available as a private workshop held
in your home for you and your friends!
Laura is passionate about historical
clothing from the Tudors to the Victorians and has made many unique items from
original patterns and garments for herself and others.
