The Greencrafts Craft Village is back again at this years Electric Picnic.
Greencrafts is a leading event production team staging open-air participatory Craft Villages at Festivals. Promoting sustainable living through education, Greencrafts specialise in Event Greening, offering hands-on craft activities to the public as part of a vibrant community atmosphere.
The Craft Village will host a number of workshops and activities, delivered by tutors who live and breathe their craft and are experts in their field. All tutors bring their own portable workspace studio, specialist tools and prepared materials.
Textiles are well represented in the Craft Village with a variety techniques such as knitting, felt, sewing and more. Tutors include Liadain de Buitlear, Stitchlily and Emma Allot.
Other traditional skills represented are blacksmithing, pottery, woodcarving, wood turning, slate work, greenwood and more. If you are going to the festival, it is well worth a visit.
