SPRING PROGRAMME at PRINT BLOCK
DUBLIN'S TEXTILE PRINTING STUDIO
WHAT WE DO....
Print Block is the only textile screen printing studio of
its kind in Dublin. Our specialist facilites offer a 6 metre textile printing
table with registration bar, wash out room, dark room, acetates and printer,
exposure unit (A3 max size) and dry area, along with technical assistance if
required.

one of our workshops or courses.
WEEKEND COURSE-BEGINNERS:
Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 March, 10.30am – 4.30pm
Price €145, 8 places available
An introduction to printed textiles for beginners, this
weekend course will cover the basics, including: mark-making techniques onto
different substrates, paper stencils and colour mixing. A basic provision of
printing materials is included in fee.
WEEKEND COURSE-INTERMEDIATE:
Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 April, 10.30am – 4.30pm
Price €155, 6 places available
For users with previous printing experience, this course
will focus on screen-printing using the photo stencil technique. Participants
will prepare and expose screens for printing, further developing the technique
of printing onto fabric. Binder and emulsion are not included in fee, but
available to buy on the day. A limited number of screens are available for use.
Participants with own screens, please bring along (A3 maximum screen size).
OPEN ACCESS:
Saturday 2 March, 10.30am – 4.30pm
Saturday 6 April, 10.30am – 4.30pm
Saturday 11 May, 10.30am – 4.30pm
Price €65, 4 places available per session
Print Block’s monthly open access day, facilitates
independent access to the studio for users with some printing experience.
Technical support will be available on the day, however users are expected to
work independently. For users new to the studio a brief induction will be given
at the beginning of the session. Binder and emulsion are not included in fee,
but available to buy on the day. A limited number of screens are available for
use. Participants with own screens, please bring along (A3 maximum screen
size).
