The Ennistymon Fibre Art Installation Project

This is an open call for artists, crafts people and designers.
This is a non-commercial, guerrilla initiative to bring artisans together in an alternative and dynamic way to create an unique installation in Lahinch, Ireland.

Opening date for submissions: 25 February 2013. Closing date: 30 April 2013 (Exhibition date to be announced.)

This is a voluntary non-profit project, anyone and everyone can participate.

Participants are asked to knit, crochet, weave, felt, illustrate, print, dye or paint onto fabric. Pieces can be any colour, yarn or fibre, any size, shape and pattern.

Theme: Colour.

The requirements:
All pieces must be able to be sewn together to form a larger installation/wall hanging.

There is no limit to how many pieces of work you can submit.
By submitting your work you are consenting for it to be used for The Ennistymon Fibre Art Project.

Please include your name/group name, town, country or any other information you would like included with your contributions. We value each and every piece and want to make sure that we include you in our list of participants.

Be creative, be individual but most of all, make it your own work and have fun with your creations.

We will not be able to return any pieces received.
If any, all proceeds will be donated to charity.

Pieces can be anything from embroidery, a granny square, a knitted scene, an Aran knitted rectangle, crochet stripes, flowers or leaves, lace, handwoven cloth, felting, an illustration on cloth, a written piece on fabric, printed fabric, batik, shibori, yuzen dyeing, tie dye, patchwork, appliqué, cross-stitch. Everything and anything fibre art related.
