'Flora, Fibre and Fabric' Irish Patchwork Society Exhibition - Hands Across the Border 2013

11th-30th July
The bi-annual Hands Across the Border Exhibition, which is run by the Irish Patchwork Society (IPS) and the Northern Ireland Patchwork Guild (NPIG), will take place again in the National Botanic Gardens, Glasnevin this summer. Featuring over sixty specially selected quilts from all over Ireland exploring the theme of flora, fabric and fibre. 

Also, if you are interested in learning how to do patchwork just drop into the free workshops for adults on Friday 12th, and Thursdays 18th and 25th of July from 10.00am to 12.00pm.

Workshops for children will be held Tuesdays 16th, 23rd and 29th of July from 11.00am to 1.00pm.
All workshops for children need to be booked in advance with the Visitor's Centre at 01 8570909  

Botanic Gardens Opening hours:  
Daily in the Gallery Space, Education and Visitor Centre. 
Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm; 
Saturday & Sunday, 10am-6pm
