Block, Dublin’s textile print collective, presents site specific
textile works for the Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland
(RIAI), at No. 8 Merrion Square, Dublin 2. This
exhibition aims to showcase the use of fabrics as central to the design
process for use within interiors and architectural projects.
At the launch of this exhibition on the 5 November at 5.30pm, there will also be an evening of talks, entitled “Textile Architecture”. The talks will explore the synergy between textiles and buildings.
The talks are free but booking is required by contacting Teresa Harte, RIAI, tharte@riai.ie

Trish Belford Tactility Factory, Belfast.
Liz Nilsson, textile artist and designer and co-founder of Print Block.
Olga Tiernan, textile designer and co-founder of Print Block.
The exhibition is free to the public and opens during Ireland’s annual design celebration, Design Week.
Registered architects can avail of 2 Structured CPD Points for attendance at the talks. A drinks reception will be held from 7pm to 8.30pm and all are welcome.
