One Day Block Printing & Discharge Dying Workshop

Discover the possibilities of discharge-the removal of colour from dyed cloth. Using both commercial fabrics and cloth dyed specifically for discharge, you will selectively remove and replace colour using hand carved and wooden blocks. During the afternoon you will experiment with pattern making techniques and discharge dying. You will carve your own rubber stamp and also have the use of my collection of wooden and hand carved blocks.
All materials and a light lunch are provided.

One Day Silk Screen Building Workshop 

Saturday 11th of October 2014

2-6pm

Explore screen printing for textiles in this one day intensive workshop.
Learn how to make your own silk screen to take home.
You will be shown how to cut paper stencils and print editions of your fantastic designs. Experiment with colour mixing. Take home the skills to print from your kitchen table.
Workshop Cost €95
