Pink Auction 2010, Cork

A Creative Textile Auction, will take place in in Cork City, in October 2010, in aid of Breast Cancer Awareness.

We are looking for people to donate work in any form of fabric art eg Crochet, Knit, Felt, Quilt, Batik, etc. We are looking for high quality, sellable items like bags, shawls, blankets and quilts.

Make A Square Night

If you would like to make something for the auction but can't commit to a whole blanket or garment. You can crochet, knit or quilt a square and there will all be put together to make a quilt or blanket. There will be a few Make a Square Nights in Cork, where knitting groups just make a square and then the squares are made into blankets. Or you can organise your own Make a Square Night. The Irish Cancer Society will supply pink ribbons and donation buckets and balloons.

The more Make a Square groups the more money raised
