For the love of science and the science of love, the Science Gallery at Trinity College is calling for proposals for 'LoveLab', which will be held at the gallery from 5 February to 14 March 2010.
'LoveLab' is the second of the ‘LAB in the Gallery’ series at the Science Gallery, which carries out real, publishable, peer-reviewed research through open-ended experimentation involving large-scale public participation.
'LoveLab' will explore the phenomenon of love, attraction and desire, through a variety of participative scientific experiments and research projects. Research may be based in a number of disciplines including physiology, psychology, neurobiology, endocrinology, biochemistry and genetics. Artists working in the area of love and desire or a related field are now invited to submit ideas or proposals for 'LoveLab'.
More information is available from the Science Gallery on request. Further details of the previous LAB are available from the Science Gallery's You Tube channel.
