Felting and Spinning Fibres and Icelandic Yarns

Date: Saturday 29th May 2010
Time: 10am – 6pm
Cost: There is no charge for the fibre tasting session and we are offering 10% off all fleece purchased in the shop on the day.

We will have a felting table set up and you can try out Icelandic fleece, Merino Fleece, Ashford Merino Silk and needle felting with Bhadawool.
We will also have a spinning wheel available to try spinning the fleeces. We will be showing the full range of Icelandic Wool: Knitting yarn in Einband (Laceweight), Lett Lopi (Aran), Alafoss Lopi (Chunky) and Lopi plates as well as fleece for spinning and felting.

Thursday Club Knitting Group

 The Thursday Club Knitting Group is continuing every Thursday evening from 6:30 – 9pm. All welcome. There is no charge for this knitting group and refreshments are provided.

Learn to Knit - Learn the basics of knitting and get started on your first project
When: May 14th , May 21st, May 28th, June 11th
Time: Friday morning from 10:30am – 12:30pm
Cost: €25

Improvers Knitting Class - Improve your knitting techniques and work through a particular project.
When: 1st May to 10th June 2010.
Time: Thursday morning from 10:30am – 12:30pm
Cost: €25

Professional Finishing Class - You are welcome to bring a project to work on or alternatively use one of our pieces.
When: Part 1 - 22nd May:  covers blocking, weaving in ends and seaming
           Part 2 – 12th June: covers picot cast on/ off, Kitcheners stitch and Icord.
Time: 3pm – 5pm
Cost: €25

Learn to Crochet - Learn the basics of Crochet and get started on your first project:
When: 21st May from 3pm – 5pm, 12th June from 10:30am – 12:30 am
Cost: €25

Crochet for Parents and Children - This fun class gives parent and children the opportunity to learn to crochet together.

Tunisian Crochet - Learn the basics of Tunisian crochet and get started on your first project.
