The Summer Solstice: Megaliths and Sheep

It's the Summer Solstice and the sun is shining in Ireland. Being a fan of history, and especially Irish history, I was wondering how to mention the Summer Solstice, with some sort of textile connection. We know our ancestors had some sort of textiles, but, there is no evidence from this time. What we have are the amazing structures of New Grange, Knowth, Douth, Lough Crew, and more, and the place to be today, to celebrate the Summer Solstice, Carrowkeel, in Co. Sligo.

So, ancient stone structures, with a textile connection?

Then I got an email from Michael Fox of www.newgrange.com about a blog he has started Megaliths and Sheep! Thank you Michael you have saved the day..
