Ulster Folk and Transport Museum, Holywood, Northern Ireland
Step back in time in and uncover a way of life from 100 years ago. Discover cottages, farms, schools and shops as you wander through the beautiful parkland of the Folk Museum chatting to costumed visitor guides demonstrating traditional crafts.
Some textiles are displayed in their original context within the exhibit buildings of the open-air museum. It comprises of reconstructions of historical buildings made into a kind of village and each building is equipped to look as it would have originally with period furniture and textiles and staffed by people in period dress. This includes things such as a Drapers shop from 1907, a dressmaker's house and a weaver's house.

Exhibitions, Events and Classes: The museum also runs regular courses and demonstrations throughout the year on a variety of textile crafts.
