Becoming an integral part of the Picnic experience, the area is a vibrant hub of buzzing activity and a place to go to find another world - a place of wonder and enchantment a place of fun and excitement, a place to exchange ideas and try something new."

Last year there was a great textile presence at the Craft Village, with demonstrations and workshops  in sewing, knitting, felting, crochet, etc. This year there promises to be that and more...

Cultivate.ie are organising a Global Green Festival Clothes Swap in preparation for this years Electric Picnic. Flamboyant granny, conservative tranny, outrageously plain, or just plain outrageous, whatever your festival style, come and re-cycle your festival wardrobe. Out with the old, in with the new. Bring your old dresses, skirts, shirts, shorts, wellies, raincoats, bags or hats, and exchange or up-cycle them for a whole new sustainable and stylish festival wardrobe. Not just for girls, for boys too.
