A Culture Night initiative @ The Boardwalk Bar & Grill, Lapps Quay, Cork
Mary explores a variety of media including threads stitched
through Linen as a method of drawing. This stems directly from her background in Fashion Design. After her Degree and
post graduate studies, she won National Designer of the year Award for Ireland. Working in Milan and Paris before
returning home to Cork, she ran a sucessfull Commercial Creative Studio before deciding on becoming a full time
Artist.
Today Mary creates fulltime and teaches workshops each term
in her Studio in Carrigaline, Co. Cork. Her intimate classes for children & adults alike are inclusive of all
abilities, actively persuing a policy of inclusion...teaching all, icluding people who face more than their fair share of
challenges in their lives and those with various learning disabilities.
Mary is proud to present a second Exhibition from
her children's classes @ 3pm on the same day at The Lifetime Lab. Please support their talent, visit their show & meet
these amazing 7 to 14 yr olds.
