Textile Works and Anne Harte
are delighted to invite Artist Linda Green an internationally known tapestry
weaver to lead the Workshop. Over the two day course she will share her
knowledge in what promises to be a most exciting and inspirational Workshop. Tapestry
weaving is an ancient artform and for cultures as diverse as the Egyptian Copts
and the pre‐Columbians of Peru, tapestry was an important means of artistic and
cultural expression. In this century artists
still continue to find endless creative possibilities in this medium.
Linda Green studied tapestry at Edinburgh College of Art and
Royal College of Art, London.
She was a Lecturer at Glasgow School of Art and now runs Studio
Green, a creative space for creating, making and learning in Edinburgh. Find
