Basic and Beyond - Felting Workshop, Dublin

Do you want to refresh your skills? Have you been hearing the term”nuno” but not been sure what it was? Would you love a whole day to yourself in the company of like-minded folks, doing fun stuff together? Then here comes your chance.

Feltmakers Ireland are hosting a one day workshop aimed at new felters and people who want to renew and refresh their skills. Flat, 3D and nuno felting will all be taught, giving a basis from which you can expand your ability. This is always a fun filled day with good friends and even good baked goods!

This year we will be in Lucan at The Church of Ireland Parish Centre on the 23rd of January. An application form can be downloaded from the website – www.feltmakersireland.com.  There is plenty of off road parking at the venue and even a lovely café next door. Feltmakers Ireland will provide all the fibre and fabric for the day as part of the cost, which is €85 for non-members and €75 for fully paid up members. This would make a lovely Christmas gift for a friend, or, if you hint loudly enough, for yourself! We’d love to see you and a friend there.
